Luctor 42

The Luctor 42 is designed and built according to the ABS rules and developed to compete under the IRC handicap rule, but rates extremly well also to ORC International.
The design of the Luctor 42 has just one thing in mind: Speed!
During the design process the Luctor 42 has been approached as a one- off. Building the Luctor 42, engineered by SP Technology, in a female tool using pre-preg e-glass/carbon laminates, results in less weight, a better weight concentration and improvement of hull stiffness. Unlike with wet laminates, the hull is equally stiff resulting in much less energy loss due to hull bending. The rudder, designed to an optimum, has minimal tip deflection. The Luctor 42 is a very fast and durable boat. Contact us for more information or see our yachtworld site.
Luctor 36.
At Luctor Yachts we recognized the absence of a fast 36 foot IRC racer on the market. Therefore we are proud to introduce the Luctor 36. Based on the successful Lutra design of our Luctor GP42, the Luctor 36 is a highly competitive boat, configured for round the cans and offshore racing with a wide appeal due to its size and reasonable cost. This design provides the grand prix racing owner with the competitive edge to win on the highest level of yacht racing. With all the necessary components of a comfortable but light interior, the Luctor 36 will also appeal to those recreational sailors who want to enjoy high speeds and occasional racing once in a while.
